About dvsn

The mysterious dvsn (pronounced “division”) is a PBR&B act based in Toronto.

OVO producer Nineteen85 brought dvsn into the limelight when he played “The Line” and “With Me” on the eighth OVO Sound Radio tracklist. The two singles were originally released on Sept. 5 on their SoundCloud.

It was initially unclear who was involved with dvsn, but Nineteen85 has since confirmed that he started the group “to explore some stuff that I normally wouldn’t get to do as this quote-unquote pop producer.” In an interview with nowtoronto, even the other bandmate was confirmed: it is the R&B singer Daniel Daley.

On March 19, 2016, dvsn made their debut live performance debut, performing at The Fader Fort presented by Converse as part of SXSW Music Festival.

dvsn broke into the public eye with an appearance on Drake’s 2016 album Views, where they appeared on “Faithful.”

On October 13, 2017 dvsn released their sophomore album Morning After.

On December 19, 2017 dvsn were featured in an episode of Beats 1, were they give another one of their rare interviews with Ebro Darden.
