Leslie Grace Breaks Down “Lunes A Jueves” On Genius’ Series ‘Verified’

New York singer Leslie Grace has a bubbling hit on her hands with “Lunes a Jueves,” an infectious, uptempo single inspired by SZA’s Grammy-nominated hit, “The Weekend.” The Spanish-language track has racked up 3.5 million YouTube views in one week, and features guest vocals from Colombian singer Farina. It’s produced by DalePlay, who has worked with Jennifer Lopez and A.CHAL.

“You’re like a magician, you make magic happen. But then you disappear like a magician,” Leslie Grace tells Genius. “It’s something that’s said in Spanish a lot. It has like a double meaning.”

Leslie Grace recently sat down with Genius for the latest episode of Verified and broke down her track. Watch her go line-for-line with “Lunes a Jueves” featuring Farina in the video above, and check out past episodes, too.
